A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of €25,000 worth of cannabis in Westmeath.
The cannabis was seized following the planned search of a premises at Ardleigh Vale, Mullingar, on Wednesday evening at about 6pm.
Gardaí attached to the Westmeath Divisional Drugs Unit arrested a man (26) at the scene.
He was detained at Mullingar Garda Station, charged and will appear before Mullingar District Court on Thursday.
