A man in his 20s has been released without charge after being arrested following the death of a man at a gathering in Celbridge, Co Kildare, on Tuesday.
The man was arrested at a house in Willowbrook Park after gardaí were called to the property following the discovery of a man in his 30s with head injuries at 8.50pm.
The man in his 30s, named locally as Noel Winterlich, was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The man in his 20s was held at Leixlip Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
