Man in his 60s is stabbed in Tralee attack

The man was taken to University Hospital Kerry following incident outside a library

A man in his 60s has been stabbed in Tralee, Co Kerry.

The man was attacked following an altercation on a street outside the Kerry County Library in Moyderwell at about 2pm on Monday.

He was brought to University Hospital Kerry with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and said they were examining CCTV footage from the area.
