A man has been seriously injured after he was stabbed a number of times in a park in Dublin on Friday evening.
The man in his 40s was stabbed in a park in Ballyfermot, just off the Ballyfermot road.
Gardaí said he made his way to a nearby off-licence for assistance and was taken to St James’s Hospital by ambulance.
Gardaí are at the scene of the incident and investigations are ongoing.
