Police in Northern Ireland are investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in north Belfast last night.

A man was shot in each foot at around 8.20pm in the Havana Walk area of Ardoyne.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Det chief insp Gary Reid said: "I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident to contact CID at Tennent Street Police Station on the non-emergency number 101."
