A man has died following a road collision in Co Tyrone this morning.

The pedestrian, believed to be in his 70s, was hit by a green Volvo car near the bus depot on Sedan Avenue, Omagh. The incident took place at about 8.20am.

The PSNI has appealed to anyone with information on the incident to contact Omagh Police station.

Separately a man (31) died early this morning after a single vehicle crash in Derry.

The crash involving a white Volvo lorry took place yesterday afternoon at about 2pm between the Caw Roundabout and Craigs Roundabout. The PSNI has urged witnesses to contact Strand Road police station.
