Pipe bomb damages north Belfast house

No injuries reported after blast in New Lodge area

A pipe bomb has exploded at the front door of a house in north Belfast.

Minor damage was caused but there were no injuries in the blast in Carlisle Square, New Lodge, an inner-city residential area.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm last night and the PSNI has appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
