Police appeal for information after reports of shots fired in Derry

No injuries or damage reported, PSNI says

Police in Northern Ireland are appealing for information after reports that shots were fired in Derry on Sunday night.

"We received a report at 9.40pm of gun shots in the Sevenoaks area of the city," Insp Swanson from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.

“Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries or damage.”

Anyone with information or who noticed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting the reference number 1859 of 24/10/21.
