The Special Criminal Court was told yesterday Mr O’Coisdealbha intended to make a renewed bail application, having been refused bail last May.

Ms O’Sullivan said the TDs had attended the hearing in because Mr O’Coisdealbha was only prisoner on his block in Portlaoise prison to have been denied bail.
