Two men arrested on Tuesday in connection with a shooting in Dublin last November have been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The arrested men, both of whom are in their 30s, were detained and questioned in the Dublin city area, gardaí said.

Several shots were fired at a 35-year-old man at a car park at the Islandbridge Court and Bellevue apartments just before 7pm on Saturday November 1st.

The intended victim was driving a silver BMW with an 01- D registration when it was rammed by a red Honda Civic car with an 08 -D registration.

Two men jumped from the Honda and fired several shots at the man who then fled on foot.

It is understood the intended victim has been the target of several shootings and was previously shot and injured in Clondalkin.
