A first edition of one of the most famous scientific books in history is expected to fetch about €30,000 when it goes under the hammer tomorrow, auctioneers say.
The first issue, first edition of Charles Darwin's 1859 work On The Origins Of Speciesis due to go on sale at an auction in Aylsham, Norfolk.
A spokesman for auctioneers Keys said the book was one of only 1,250 printed, and was expected to attract interest from around the world.
