Date fixed for Howth murder trial

A DATE has been set for the trial of a Dublin man charged with murdering his wife at their home in Howth, Co Dublin.

A DATE has been set for the trial of a Dublin man charged with murdering his wife at their home in Howth, Co Dublin.

The Central Criminal Court yesterday fixed January 11th, 2010, as the date for the trial before a judge and jury.

Eamonn Lillis (51) is remanded on bail on a charge that he murdered Celine Cawley at their home at Windgate Road, Howth, Co Dublin, on December 15th last year.

Ms Cawley, a 46-year-old mother of one, was found dead on the patio of their home.
