Gardai are still trying to identify a cyclist who died after being knocked down near Galway city on Wednesday night. The man, in his early twenties, was hit by a car at Woodstock as he cycled towards the city.
He was pronounced dead after being rushed by ambulance to University College Hospital, Galway.
