The police in Derry were yesterday trying to establish a motive for a gun attack on a house in the Waterside area of the city.
Two shots were fired at the house at Rossdowney Park just before midnight on Monday.
A husband and wife and their teenage son who were in the house at the time of the shooting incident escaped injury. One of the bullets struck the front door frame, and the other bullet struck the front wall of the house.
