Donegal Creameries is to suspend trading on the Irish Stock Exchange until its 2004 results have been released, reports indicated today.
However, the results are believed to be in line with market expectations and should be available before the end of May.
The company had delayed releasing the annual results last week due to financial irregularities at its associate company, Monaghan Mushrooms, in which Donegal Creameries owns a 23 per cent stake.
The problem at Monaghan Mushrooms related to the mis-stating of financial accounts at another Irish company, Carbury Mushrooms. The two mushroom companies merged last year.
