Up to 1,500 people attended anti drugs protests in two areas of Dublin last night. Over 1,000 attended a meeting at the community centre in Darndale, where they were addressed by local representatives before setting off at 9.15 p.m. on a march through Darndale and Belcamp, chanting anti drugs slogans.
Earlier, about 500 people attended an anti drugs protest in the Ballymun town centre car park. Following addresses by local representatives the protesters marched around the Ballymun complex, behind two banners with anti drugs slogans.
