Dublin pub damaged in fire

Several units of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended a fire at a pub in the city’s North Strand area this morning.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at the Strand House Pub at about 4am.

The pub is understood to have been extensively damaged in the fire but there were no reported injuries.

A Garda spokesman said the scene had been cordoned off for a forensic examination.
