Ankara - The Turkish Prime Minister, Mr Bulent Ecevit, warned his coalition allies yesterday that Turkey's attempt to join the EU would suffer if it did not delay the legal process against the condemned Kurdish rebel leader, Abdullah Ocalan, as recommended by the European Court of Human Rights. A Turkish court in June sentenced him to death but the country's parliament has yet to approve the ruling.
