The Children's Rights Alliance has called on the Government to ensure that the upcoming Budget promotes "the elimination of child poverty and reverses the trend towards greater income inequality identified by the Economic and Social Research Institute in its recent report". The alliance is a coalition of 67 non-governmental organisations concerned with the needs and rights of children in the State.
