Senior Helpline is a confidential listening service provided by older people for older people. The service is manned by volunteers and it is operative from 10 a.m.1 p.m. and 7 p.m.10 p.m. seven days a week. The number to phone is 1-850-440-444 and you can call the helpline from anywhere in the country for the price of a local call. The Senior Helpline was set up by the Summerhill Active Retirement Association in Co Meath and its aim is to offer older people a friendly ear if they need to talk something through.
