Open Day Senior College Dún Laoghaire: Senior College Dún Laoghaire is holding an open day for prospective students tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm. The college offers full-time further education courses in a wide range of subjects.

New courses for 2007/2008 include applied psychology, retail pharmacy assistant and financial services.

The SCD design exhibition takes place from today until Thursday, May 1th at the Town Hall, Dún Laoghaire from 10am to 4pm each day. The exhibition features the work of the students of interior design, landscape and garden design and interactive media.The exhibition is being launched by Diarmuid Gavin today at 6pm and all are welcome.

Ballsbridge College Enrolment Day

This takes place in the college on Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm. Applicants should bring along their PPS number, €€30 deposit and a passport photograph. Enrolment will take place for a number of courses.

Information Day at Hungarian Embassy

An information day will be held at the Hungarian Embassy, 2 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin on Monday, May 21st at 9.45am. Information for prospective Irish students to Hungarian state universities to study medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary, etc through English will be available.

TCD Postgraduate Diploma in Education Studies (Disability Needs Assessment)

A postgraduate diploma in educational studies (disability needs assessment) has been developed by the School of Education, Trinity College Dublin. This diploma is being offered as an in-service qualification for those completing educational needs assessments for students with disabilities. It is aimed at second-level resource teachers, special education needs officers and disability/access services in higher education.

The course, which comprises four modules of 25 hours each, can be completed in one year.
