Dhaka - Nearly 200 members of parliament from the victorious Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its allies were sworn in yesterday but members of the former ruling party, which has rejected the election result, stayed away.
The Speaker administered the oath to the BNP leader, Ms Begum Khaleda Zia, her party colleagues and members of allied parties.
