ASTHMA SUFFERERS attending the Electric Picnic music festival next weekend should be aware of the large number of triggers that may affect their asthma and allergies at the outdoor event.
According to the Asthma Society of Ireland, which has issued a list of essential health information for festival-goers, these triggers include weather changes, dust, pollen, moulds and air pollutants such as cigarette smoke.
The Asthma Society will be providing nebulisers and an asthma respiratory nurse will also be on site.
