Train services have resumed at Heuston station but delays are expected, according to Iarnród Éireann.
Services were disrupted by an incident on the line near Newbridge, Co Kildare
The 2.20pm service from Cork to Heuston had been stopped, a spokesman said.
Heuston update: services resuming now at 17.28hrs. Significant delays remain but these will ease. Thank you for patience & understanding.

Services resumed at 5.28pm according to a tweet from the rail carrier.
