Dublin Fire Brigade units are battling two separate blazes among derelict buildings in north and south Dublin tonight.

Two buildings on the Dublin Road in Shankill have caught fire and have been attended by five fire engines, a water tanker and a ladder platform.

Separately in Rush, three engines have responded to a blaze at a derelict house.

Dublin Fire Brigade said there is no threat to people or other property in the area, or any risk of evacuation.
