Former Rangers captain Craig Moore is on the verge of linking up with Dick Advocaat again at Borussia Moenchengladbach.
The 29-year-old has not played for the Light Blues since September 22 following a double hernia operation.
The player also fell out with Ibrox boss Alex McLeish over his participation in the Olympics earlier in the season.
Now ex-Rangers manager Advocaat will hand Moore a lifeline for his career in the Bundesliga.

Advocaat said: "We are highly interested in Craig. I have trained him for a while and know his qualities.
"Craig is the tough defender we are looking for."
Advocaat resurrected Moore's career at Rangers when he brought him back to Glasgow from Crystal Palace for a second stint at Ibrox in April 1999.
