A Limerick woman who travelled 8,000 miles to support Munster without a match ticket made it to Cardiff just 20 minutes before kick-off.
Tara Robinson's odyssey highlights the amazing lengths that many Munster fans will go to in support of their team.
Tara (32), who had never missed a Munster match since 1999, embarked on a round-the-world trip almost 18 months ago.
She kept in touch with her beloved Munster's progress via the internet on a journey that took her to New Zealand and to Tierra del Fuego on the most southerly tip of South America.
However, the fear that she could miss a historic Munster victory proved too strong and Tara decided to end her trip early to make it to Cardiff for Saturday's final.
Her epic voyage began last Thursday when she flew from Buenos Aires in Argentina to Fortaleza in Brazil, then on to Madrid, before she arrived in London's Heathrow airport at noon on Saturday.
A friend picked her up at the airport and drove her straight to the stadium in Cardiff, where she arrived at 2.45pm.
Dubliner Tom Casey had heard about Tara's efforts to get to Cardiff and had arranged to meet her with a free ticket.
Tara even made it back to Limerick in time to welcome the victorious team home.
