Clubbers and revellers have been celebrating Halloween all weekend, as ROSEMARY MacCABEand photographer DAVE MEEHANdiscovered on Dublin's streets

ON SATURDAY night Halloween was in full force in Temple Bar, Dublin. Tavern wenches (lusty and with the laces of their dress untied) mingled with ghosts and ghouls, zombies and cyborgs. Meanwhile Michael Jackson in full-on Thrillerregalia met Lady Gaga in sunglasses and leotard combo as Vicky "yeah-but-no-but" Pollard lumbered past chewing gum.

At times, though, it was difficult to tell exactly who was in costume: is that Jasmine from Aladdin or just a regular Saturday night outfit? And is that man being ironic in his Abercrombie loyalty, or is it truly his style?

While some questions will forever remain unanswered, there is no doubting the fact that Halloween is the one night of the year when you can forget all that you are and become someone or something else entirely.
