Gardai are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the side of the road in Arklow, Co Wicklow, in the early hours of this morning.
The man's body was discovered by a passer by shortly after midnight on the main Dublin to Arklow road. He is believed to have sustained severe head injuries.
The body has been brought to the City Morgue at Marino, where a post-mortem will be carried out by the Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy this afternoon.
