Gardaí in Dublin were today investigating a possible link between two knife attacks in Ballyfermot earlier this morning.
A man is understood to have received injuries to his face after an attack in Le Fanu Road shortly before 1.30 a.m.
A second man was attacked in the Cherry Orchard area of Ballyfermot a short time later.
Both men were said to be in a stable condition in St James' Hospital today.
