Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Cork city early this morning.
Several shots were fired at a house on the Old Youghal Road at about 4.45am, damaging a front door and sitting room window.
Nobody was injured, although the house was occupied at the time. Detectives in Mayfield Garda station are investigating.
A Garda spokesman said a small car, believed to be silver, was seen leaving the scene, which has been sealed off.
