Gardaí have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body in Co Tipperary.
The man's remains were found at an apartment at Mitchell Street, Clonmel, in the early hours of this morning.
A woman aged in her late 30s was arrested around 3.30am and was taken to Clonmel Garda station where she is detained under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act. The scene is preserved for technical examination and the State pathologist has been asked to attend.
