Gardaí have named the man who died in a road collision at Littleton, Tipperary, yesterday as James Moloney (91).
Mr Moloney, from Friar Street, Thurles, died after his SUV collided with a truck at around 1pm on the N8 road at Ballymooreen, Littleton.
His front seat passenger suffered minor injuries.
Mr Moloney was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital for a postmortem.
