RACING: Barry Geraghty picked up three winners for boss Nicky Henderson but the afternoon highs a Newbury yesterday were soured with the Irish jockey picking up a five-day ban.
Henderson was particularly keen on Dave's Dream (evens favourite), who took a little while to warm up on his first run of the campaign but had enough class to make it three from three for Geraghty in the Totepool Greatwood Introductory Hurdle.
Geraghty made a manoeuvre turning out of the back straight and was adjudged by the stewards to have intentionally interfered with Gremlin.
He will be suspended from January 12th-16th, 2009.
