Stockholm - A five-year-old girl has received five vital organs in a multiple transplant described as a first in Europe, the Swedish news agency TT reported yesterday.
The organs - liver, stomach, pancreas, duodenum and small intestine - were transplanted on Tuesday in a 12-hour operation in a Goeteborg hospital. The identity of the child was not given.
