A Dublin man, Mr James Hannigan (26), yesterday pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Christopher Quinn (30) at a North Circular Road flat in April 1994.

The killing occurred following a row between the two men at Mr Quinn's flat, the Central Criminal Court was told yesterday.

Counsel for Mr Hannigan, Mr Anthony Sammon SC, sought an adjournment for the preparation of medical and psychiatric reports before sentence is passed.

Mr Justice Carney adjourned sentencing until January 15th.
