Gun attacks on three homes in Portadown

The RUC is investigating separate attacks on three homes in Portadown in Co Armagh overnight.

Shots were fired at a house in Granville Road in Portadown in Co Armagh at around 11.30 p.m.

Ten minutes later a gun attack was launched on a house in Westland Road in the town. At 12.05 a.m. a home in Robinsonstown Road was also targeted.

There were people in all three houses during the attacks but no one was injured.

In a separate incident in Co Derry a pub sustained slight damage after a pipe bomb blew up outside it.

The device had been lit and left on the windowsill of the Village Tavern in Castlerock at around 12.20 a.m. It fell to the ground and exploded.
