Gardaí in Tallaght, Dublin have arrested a man after they seized a gun during a house search.
The planned search took place this morning at about 11.30am.
A Garda spokesman said a handgun was seized along with shotgun cartridges, pepper spray and a balaclava.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
