Police say a gunman has wounded two people at a shopping mall in central Denmark, and officers are chasing him.

Police could not confirm a report by the Danish TV2 news channel that the injured were Israelis.

Police say one of the wounded was shot in the arm and the other in the leg. Their condition is unclear.

Wednesday's shooting took place in the Rosengaarden shopping mall in Odense, 170 kilometers  west of Copenhagen.
