Motor Sport: McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was quickest in Saturday's final free practice before qualifying for Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix.
The Briton, who has finished on the podium in all five races of his debut season in Formula One and been runner-up in the last four, led a disrupted session with a best lap of one minute 16.071 seconds.
Ferrari's Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest, 0.388 seconds behind Hamilton whose McLaren team-mate, double world champion and joint championship leader Fernando Alonso, was third fastest and 0.394 off the pace.
Alonso, winner of the previous Monaco Grand Prix, was quickest in both of Friday's sessions.
Toyota, who struggled with suspension problems on Friday, took part in Saturday's practice but both their drivers, Italian Jarno Trulli and Germany's Ralf Schumacher, were well off the pace.
The session was halted for 17 minutes after Heikki Kovalainen's Renault suffered an engine failure and dumped oil on the track.
Spaniard Alonso had skidded over the spillage before the red flag was produced. The earlier part of the session was hampered by dust on the track as a result of cars scraping the wall in a previous support race.
