Prague - Czech President Vaclav Havel (64) is feeling better after cutting short a foreign trip last week due to a relapse of lung problems, but will remain in hospital this week, his doctor has said.

Mr Havel had been expected to leave hospital yesterday but his temperature rose again over the weekend and doctors decided to keep him in Prague military hospital.
