Health Sector Jobs:The Mater hospital in Dublin has a large number of jobs available, including medical and administration posts. The hospital seeks registrars in emergency medicine commencing July 1st. A registrar and an SHO in ophthalmology are also required and there are a number of anaesthesia training positions available.
In nursing, the hospital has a range of vacancies, including a CNM II grade in the admissions lounge of the emergency department and a CNM II position in the coronary care unit.
In the occupational therapy department, there is an opening for a senior occupational therapist (acute medical unit). The salary scale for the post is €48,368-€57,255. A similar role is open in the acute vascular and surgery area.
Senior physiotherapists are also required in the surgical respiratory area and in medical respiratory.
A compliance manager (grade VII) is sought for the finance department.
The patient services department also has openings, including a patient liaison officer (grade VI) and a discharge co-ordinator (grade VI). For both these positions, the salary scale is €43,192-€53,165.
A chief clinical engineering technician post is also open in the technical services department. The salary scale is €56,472-€70,519.
Hermitage Medical Clinic in Lucan, west Dublin, has openings for nurses and also has a vacancy for an infection control officer (part-time, CNM III). Hermitage is also looking for resident medical officers, medical scientists, pharmacists, a human resources manager, radiographers and a radiography services manager.
St Michael's Hospital in Dún Laoghaire has an opening for a senior physiotherapist in respiratory care.
St Francis Hospice in Raheny, Dublin, is looking for a registrar in palliative medicine, commencing July 1st.
In Cork, the Bon Secours Health System has a full-time/job sharing role for a HSSD supervisor and is also seeking full and part-time staff nurses. A consultant dermatologist and a consultant histopathologist area also sought. There are also CNMI posts available.
