Shelbourne full-back Owen Heary this morning signed a new contract which will keep him at Tolka Park for the next four seasons.
The news vindicates Shelboune manager Dermot Keely who earlier this week insisted the 26-year-old would remain at Shelbourne despite reported overtures from several rival clubs. It will also please Shelbourne fans, who voted Heary Player of the Year last season.
