It is likely there will be traffic congestion on access routes to Phoenix Park in Dublin tonight as mourners gather for the "sunset service of remembrance" at 6.30pm.

Drivers are warned that the park will be closed to traffic, apart from buses and drivers with disabled car passes, and it is recommended that spectators use the free bus shuttle service from George's Quay, next to Tara Street Dart station or use the Luas Red Line.

On the M50 traffic will be reduced to a single lane, west of the Ballinteer interchange, between 10am and 4pm daily until Wednesday April 13 th.

Ballygowan National Food Fair takes place at the RDS this weekend which will increase traffic flow around Ballsbridge.

All Irish Ferries Swift sailings are in doubt today due to the bad weather conditions, passengers are advised to check their sailing, while Stena Line sailings are on time.

Rail travellers should note that upgrade works continue on the Dart line between Pearse and Howth/Malahide. There will be no weekend services on that section of the line. However, additional buses will operate on Dublin Bus routes adjacent to the Dart line.

Full Dart services will operate between Pearse and Bray/Greystones.

Elsewhere there will be a full programme of national hurling league games. As the competition enters the second phase there could be localised congestion but the biggest crowd will be at Páirc Uí Chaoimh where Cork take on Kilkenny.
