Racing: Michael Hourigan believes Beef Or Salmon has a "good chance" of taking his Grade One tally to 11 in the Guinness Gold Cup at the Punchestown festival tomorrow.
The 11-year-old will be making his third appearance in this valuable chase over three miles and one furlong having won it in 2004 and finished second 12 months ago.
And he is back on happier hunting ground following his annual failure in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
"He's in good form. He just doesn't like that part of the world," said Hourigan.
"He's won this race before and was second last year. I think he's got a good chance again and the ground will not be a problem."
Hourigan also saddles Hi Cloy, who was only one and a half lengths behind Beef Or Salmon in third place to War Of Attrition last April.
"He's in good form as well," added the County Limerick trainer. "The distance is just a bit of a problem to him, but he'll run a big race."
