London - Unpublished letters concerning the private life of the late former Poet Laureate Ted Hughes are to go on show to the public, it emerged yesterday. More than 140 letters, one of which details the events leading to the suicide of his wife Sylvia Plath, have been obtained by the British Library after being donated by a close friend.
The letters and other documents were written to a literary critic and friend of Hughes, Keith Sagar, over a period of nearly 30 years.
