New York - IBM has announced company researchers had created and used the world's first computer circuit within a single molecule in an advance that may lead to more powerful, less power-hungry computers. The chip was created from a "carbon nanotube," a cylindrical molecule of carbon atoms. The company said the chip was 100,000 times thinner than a human hair.
