Three suicide bombers die in Casablanca

CASABLANCA - Three suspected suicide bombers have blown themselves up following a police raid on a house in a Casablanca slum in which a fourth man was shot dead, according to police sources.

Two men had been on the run since yesterday's dawn raid in Fida neighbourhood in which one suspected Islamist militant was killed by police and an accomplice blew himself up after he was trapped on a roof terrace, the sources and witnesses said. - (Reuters)

JERUSALEM - The office of Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert says ministers have expressed "disappointment and reservation" over a list of prisoners Hamas has demanded freed in exchange for a captured Israeli soldier.

Hamas, which leads the Palestinian government, has handed over the names of Palestinian prisoners it wants Israel to free in exchange for Israeli corporal Gilad Shalit, who has been held by militants in Gaza for 10 months. - (Reuters)
