World number two Kim Clijsters will not play at Wimbledon because her wrist injury has not recovered, her coach said today.

World number two Kim Clijsters will not play at Wimbledon because her wrist injury has not recovered, her coach said today.

"Now, suddenly, a cyst has developed on the wrist...that means that we can kiss Wimbledon goodbye," said Marc Dehous.

The tournament starts on June 21. The Belgian's participation had already been in doubt after she missed the French Open.
