The High Court yesterday approved interim care and security for a disturbed 13-yearold boy.

Until Tuesday the boy was being cared for, at the request of the Northern Area Health Board (NAHB), in a residential unit operated by a private company. Since then, he has been in premises staffed by adult psychiatric nurses, responsible to the NAHB, and by security staff.

Yesterday, Mr Justice Kelly directed that the boy remain in the premises until next Tuesday, when he is expected to be moved to a State remand centre.
